Its a rainy miserable Friday. It started pouring down around 4 this morning as hasn't stopped since. My ride into work today was not fun.
On another note we had our last teachers meeting of the semester yesterday and I was a little taken aback. It feels like some things are just being sprung on us with little to no warning. Some things are posted months in advance and others are giving days notice. This being my first year teaching it is tough enough already without the added stresses. Just a couple of weeks left, home stretch, light at end of tunnel, etc etc.
Today my 5th graders are giving a presentation on the Vikings along with Mr William's 5th graders and they will be graded by us both and Ms. Liles so the pressure is on for them. They did really well last time so I have high hopes for them but am nervous about a few of my students. We shall see how they do...
