Friday in the am

I decided to go for a ride yesterday and get some lunch as well as fill up my bike with gas. I was heading down Sayid when one of those stupid food cart guys decided to push his cart across 6 lanes of traffic. Usually I can spot them from a ways off but this time due to the traffic I didn't see him until I was mere yards away in top gear barreling towards him. I slammed on my brakes and attempted to swerve but traffic was so packed I couldn't move over so I put my bike down on the ground so as to not slam head first into a food cart. I went flying off the bike and landed somehow shoeless a few yards away. I got up and gave the guy 50,000 (about 5 $) and he was content enough to help me pick up my bike. I managed to avoid a serious accident but I got good and scraped up. In the hours following I realized I had sprained my wrist something awful which completely overshadowed my scratches. I'm okay and my bike is okay but I can hardly use my left hand. Its all swollen and inflexible. You never realize how useful something is until you can't use it. It took me about 15 minutes to put on my socks this morning and I'm having to type this one handed... Oh well, I'll survive and learn from this.
