RIP

My grandfather passed away this morning or I guess yesterday afternoon depending on where you are in the world. I feel so detached and distant from the whole thing. I'm not going to be able to return home for his funeral and that breaks my heart. One of the main reasons I wanted to move closer to home was the thought of losing loved ones and not being able to go home to see them or go to their funeral. I nearly broke down before classes this morning but I've been able to keep it together so far. I just really can't believe it.
