When you see something broke... fix it.

I have never had the problem of not speaking my mind. In fact my problem is just the opposite... sometimes I can't keep my trap shut. As I have matured and grown in life I have become somewhat better at figuring out when my input is needed and when it is best to just be quiet.

I recently decided it was time to open my mouth about a few things at my school. I did more than open my mouth though, I took to the pen. I drafted some simple practical applications of some of the problems we have at our school. Its all well and good for the leaders to say things and expect things from the teachers and students but if it is never explained how in a practical way they will never be applied. After I met with the leadership about practical application I then tackled a few other problems that also required work. By the end of the day I had come up with simple draft forms of proposals for 3 separate but equally important issues. It was a very productive day that I hope and pray will create a better work environment.
