Eventfull

Yesterday was jam packed. I had two friends fly back to their respective homes in the west, endless meetings, and a pool competition.

I set about making some changes at the school I work at and have since had to back up my ideas by presenting them over and over. Hopefully all this effort will turn fruitful...

I had the first game of the pool season start up last night and since I have not been playing very often I was really nervous about playing. My team is a much better team and I am by far the worst player so there was a lot of pressure. I just love competition of any sort. Every time I get a chance to compete which happens less and less as the years go by I get such a thrill. I think growing up with an older brother in the family that I did fostered a strong competitive nature in me. the point is... I love competition. I've never played as good of pool as I have when I am playing against someone far better than me when chips are down etc etc. I think I need to join a futsal league..
