I just returned to my office to start the new semester and new year. It is officially 2013...
I had a great relaxing holiday taking some much needed time off and also doing a small bit of traveling. I went to Yogyakarta in central Java to see two amazing temples as well as an active volcano that only a few years back destroyed a huge amount of land in central Java. The two temples are very close to each other although one is Buddhist and the other is Hindu. They are both over 1000 years old and as they were in the middle of nowhere the views were amazing. The town itself was boring and very underdeveloped surprisingly but it was still well worth the visit.
The rest of the time was spent hanging out with friend and most importantly not working. It took a good while before I could get into vacation mode so I was still waking up at 7am almost every day. I only started to feel the vacation a few days ago and by then I was beginning to prepare to start work again.
