Edith Schaeffer has gone to be with the Lord. I will always treasure the time I spent at L'abri and often look back on the two times I spent in Huemoz as pivotal moments in my life. My mind is being flooded right now with memories of Edith... From the first time I saw her sitting in the village to the last time when she had trouble remembering who I was... She was an amazing human being who touched an untold number of people.
She will be missed.
