Last week was tough.. Completely full of extra work. I subbed for the high school humanities teacher, spoke to the elementary boys, filled in for a sick teacher, all on top of my regular classes not to mention that 9 week report was due so I had to catch up on all my grading... And at the end of it all I had a meeting with the board. They made me a serious offer to keep me here. An offer that is almost outrageous after having only taught for 3 years. However, it is an offer for a position I know I am unprepared for and must thusly decline... I'd love to take it, I really would. But I would be doing everyone a disservice in doing so.
In other news due to a Buddhist holiday I have tomorrow off then on Saturday I'm off to Singapore for 2 days and then shortly after that I have Easter/Spring break to look forward to. After all that its really just downhill and coasting to the finish line.
I literally can't imagine how hard it was to decide not to take the job! BUT IM SO GLAD YOU ARE COMING HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
