Sunday night bbq

Last night I went on the adventure of taking a taxi to the Wowor's house for a bbq. I had an address but all told its about a 45 minute car ride so the driver can't be expected to know exactly where to go never mind the fact that there are hardly any street signs here. So he got me close and I was able to figure out the rest from memory somehow. Amazing to think that you can take a taxi for just shy of an hour and pay less than 5 dollars. So among other things including good food and fun games I had my first taste of Dr Pepper since I've been here and boy was it good. I got home a bit later than I had hoped so I didn't sleep very well leading to a long drag of a day but it was worth it. I had a student ask to join in on my classes today as word is spreading that I am a good teacher. I still think a large part of the attraction is that I am a bule and I am different but still its a huge compliment to have a student want to take an extra class just to see you teach. Its officially the rainy season and boy is it raining out right now. But I'm enjoying watching the Titans game before grabbing some dinner and calling it an early night.
