I am about to give morning devotions and no matter how much I try I can't seem to prepare myself. I threw together a paltry powerpoint but I can't seem to write anything down. I'm just going to wing it. Sometimes that goes well for me and sometimes not so much. Hopefully it will go well. At least I am speaking about a subject I know well, Rock climbing. What scares me is how much they trust/ expect of me. They really want me to be the next Dr. Grant.
One good thing is that I don't really get nervous. After years of being forced to speak at FCS, everything I did at L'abri, and then teaching here I feel confident. We shall see.
In other news, I've started helping with the sports team. We had our first swimming competition last week and have basketball games today. My free time is being slowly drained away.... but it is fun.
