Back on it

Yesterday was a great day, relaxing and productive. I got all of my laundry and cleaning done, I finished up a lot of overdue work, got my groceries for the week, and got some exercise as well. I also managed to spend a good bit of the day doing nothing but relaxing and lounging which is oh so what my body and mind have needed. One of the troubles with catching back up with my grading is that after completing large amounts I feel like I can take a break from it for a little while but thats exactly how it piles up! I've got to stay on top of it!

Once again I have been reading about anti Capitalist protests across the globe and especially in Oakland. If it weren't so serious it would be comical. I wish just wish these idiots would take a look around the world and see the non capitalistic countries for themselves. Do they really think that distribution is more equal there? Have a quick gander at  any Socialist, Communist, or some of the African dictatorships (which defy a common classification). Try to tell me their money is more equally spread. Although to be fair there is on some level equality in that everyone but 1/10th of 1% have no money at all and are very equal. The idea of Communism was that everyone would be the same but time and again in every form be it Latin, European, or Asian it has always been horrendously corrupt where power and money were set aside for the very very few. Power and money will always but always be in the hands of a few. Capitalism just gives anyone a chance to reach to that level. I feel like I could rant and rave about this sort of thing for years! Take a look at the booming asian market. Hmm lets see what is it that first began to open them up? They're allowance of Capitalism! Indonesia, China, and Vietnam! Take a peek at the difference between N and S Korea! Seriously!
