Calm

I have an easy day today, just a few quizzes and some grading to do.
I was reading my post from yesterday and it seems a bit overdramatic. I guess thats what happens when the first thing you do in the morning is read BBC. That being said, Greece has officially become the poster child for how a Government should not act in times of crisis.

I was doing some research this morning and came across this gem:

What a mistake to suppose that the passions are strongest in youth! The passions are not stronger, but the control over them is weaker! They are more easily excited, they are more violent and apparent; but they have less energy, less durability, less intense and concentrated power than in the maturer life.

Edward Bulwer-Lytton
 (1803 - 1873)

Another great one is a slight variation of a Churchill quote which goes:

Capitalism is the worst form of Government except all the others that have been tried before.
