soldiering on

Last night one of my best friends over here came over to my apartment but seeing as how he does not get off of work until almost 9pm which is about the time I go to bed I knew today was going to be tough... I ended up staying awake until around 12 knowing full well that I had to wake up this morning at 5. Needless to say I am a bit tired. I've pushed through the first wave of tiredness and if I can make it after lunch I should be okay. 

I've only recently realised how close christmas is and with it both mid term exams and then holiday. Unfortunately I am a procrastinator and as I am only just looking at flights to Sri Lanka or my backup plan of Thailand flights are looking too steep. My last hope is that one of the gigglitaries (secretaries who do nothing all day but giggle to each other) might find me a cheaper flight. Otherwise it looks like it will be a Jakarta Christmas for me. As long as I get some time off though it wont really matter.. I would however like to make the most of my time over here and see some of the beauties of this country and the surrounding areas as well.
