Over the weekend one of our students has passed away. At just 16 years old she went out to a club late Friday night, got drunk, then crashed her car with a good friend inside. She died in the fire that followed the crash.
It is just unimaginably sad to see a bright young girl die in such a horrible manner. I've been dealing with death a lot more that normal this year it seems. My grandfather of natural causes, then recently one of the teachers in Iraq murdered by a student, and now one of our students here at MSA in a car accident. Each one tragic in its own right. But death is a reality of life, we cannot avoid it or ignore it.
I just finished my last class and man am I tired. I had to give a devotion this morning as well as three 2 hour classes so I've been teaching for the last 7 hours nonstop aside from 15 minutes for food. Capek de...

Yes Jesse, death is not only the reality of life, it is part of life itself. Sometimes tragic, but sometimes a beautiful release into God's presence. Would it not be more beautiful if the transition was barely noticeable to those whom pass.
