The character we are teaching our students this month is Responsibility something that I am struggling with personally. I have just been given 4 extra classes as one of our teachers will be resigning from most of his duties. I already had a lot of work to do and now I have 4 extra classes! thats 4 extra classes worth of lessons, hw, quizzes, and eventually exams.... My head is spinning at the thought of it all.
I was asked yesterday to address an issue we are having with some of our teachers who have yet to grasp the concept of Classical education and are treating the school like a factory. So I am giving a power point presentation in a few minutes to try and explain the difference between a good quiz and a bad quiz.
I have some neighbours/ friends who are always asking me to hang out during the day and to go out at night. I am always telling them no I can't and they don't seem to understand the difference between their job where they put in a few hours then go home and my job which never really ends.
The first semester is about halfway through and I am already this stressed out. I need to get into a nice apartment soon and relax more.
