Today is thanksgiving but I'm a world away from Turkey and Pecan Pie. At my school today the teachers are all having a small thanksgiving potluck but its going to be an Indonesian thanksgiving potluck... Sooo rice, chicken, and lots of desserts.
Also because this is an Island culture they go by island time... That is to say that it is supposed to start in less than 5 minutes and I was the first one to put any food out. I'm guessing it won't start for another 30 minutes. Its called Jam Karet or rubber time and its the bane of my existence sometimes.
I'm still feeling a little under the weather but when theres lots of food..
